The Head-Mount Temperature Transmitter, often referred to as a Hockey-Puck Transmitter, is a compact device specifically designed for direct installation inside the terminal head (junction box) of a temperature sensor.

It receives signals from sensors such as Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD) or Thermocouples (TC), linearizes them with high precision, and converts them into standard industrial signals, typically a 4-20mA analog output or a digital output featuring the HART Protocol.

The Temperature Transmitter is a head-mounted, two-wire transmitter designed for accurate temperature measurement in industrial processes, particularly in DCS and digital bus systems. Installed directly at the cold-end connection of a thermocouple or RTD, it outputs a standard 4–20mA linear signal proportional to the measured temperature. Capable of measuring -200℃ to 1600℃, it features compact design, low-power circuitry, and PC-programmable measuring ranges, ensuring stable, reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments.
