Overview of Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

The Diaphragm Pressure Gauge is the preferred choice for process applications where standard gauges might fail due to the nature of the medium.

What is it? It uses a sensitive metal diaphragm clamped between two flanges. When pressure is applied, the diaphragm deflects, and this linear motion is converted into a circular pointer movement.
Main Application Field: It is extensively used in petroleum, chemical, power, offshore platforms, environmental engineering, and energy sectors.
Key Characteristics: Its primary strength lies in measuring micro-pressures (as low as 4kPa) and its ability to handle "difficult" fluids. Because the diaphragm can be coated or made from exotic materials, it is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals.
